Appendix 1. PLANNING DIRECTOR DUTIES

1.

The planning director is responsible for the receipt, review and processing of all applications for rezoning, conditional use permit applications, text amendments, and for applications for all permits required by this chapter.

The planning director is responsible for all administrative activities related to the use or occupancy of land and buildings under this chapter.

3.

The planning director presents items, information, and where applicable, recommendations to the planning commission for consideration by the planning commission on making a recommendation to the board of commissioners..

4.

The planning director shall receive and process all appeals filed with the county under the provisions of the appeals article of this chapter.

5.

The planning director shall receive and process all variance application, hardship variances, and appeals under the provisions of the appeals article of this chapter.
